This policy explains how Fastshot Industries, Inc., doing business as The Web Initiative ("The Web Initiative", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information. It covers our website at thewebinitiative.net, our services, and our text messaging program. Our team uses Synched, our own communication platform, to answer calls and texts.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you send us through our website, by email, by phone or by text message.
  • Text messages and calls: the phone number you text or call from, the content of your text messages, and the date, time and status of calls and texts.
  • Customer and project information: details we need to provide our services, such as account, billing, website and hosting information.
  • Website information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the date and time. Our website may use cookies that are needed for it to work.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • answer your questions and provide customer support;

  • meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our hosting, email, payment and telecommunications providers, including Telnyx, which carries our calls and text messages. They may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

When you text our number, (205) 963-7547, you opt in to receive customer support and account notification text messages from The Web Initiative. We use your mobile number and your messages only to communicate with you about your questions, requests and account.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your consent applies only to The Web Initiative and is never transferred to anyone else. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message frequency may vary. Msg&data rates may apply. See our Text messaging terms.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. We keep records of text message opt-ins and opt-outs for as long as we need them to honor your choices.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
